The Under 10's impressive start to the Season contnued with an emphatic 4-1 win away to Blewbury on Sunday. We got off to a great start when James Melotti netted early on. Superb team play led to a great second goal - great passing from Sam Davies and Jack Borland set up the goal for James Melotti which made the score 2-0 at half time. In the second half we continued to drive forward and James completed his hat-trick with another fine finish. A brilliant free kick from Nathan Baker made it 4-0, and then Blewbury scored a consolation late on. A fantastic team performance which leaves us top of the Under 10's Yellow League.
Would moving kids' football to a summer game help improve the development of young footballers?
Yes - better pitches mean a better chance to develop technique/skills
No - wouldn't make any real difference to development
Maybe - but I'd be worried about more injuries on firm pitches
