ABOUT THE TEAM

Started in 2008 the Rising Stars rapidly grew into its current format.

This age group is all about the children learning the game and having fun with no concerns on winning and losing.

The under 7’s have games arranged throughout the season, so as to adapt the children for the following season in the Oxford Boy’s U8’s friendly league.

All players of any ability are welcome to join us on a Saturday morning at 10am.

Would moving kids' football to a summer game help improve the development of young footballers?
Yes - better pitches mean a better chance to develop technique/skills
No - wouldn't make any real difference to development
Maybe - but I'd be worried about more injuries on firm pitches
