Bar Absolute took on league leaders Red Star knowing they were in for a tough game against a good footballing side but with good commitment and work rate were surprising half time leaders thanks to a goal from Carl Gunning. The second half saw Red Star with better possesion which they used well to score 2 goals, although the second was poor defending. Even with a man sent off in the second half Red Star held on with some comfort for their win. Bar Ab could hold their heads up though as a spirited performance gave Red Star a good game.
