Joined the Club in 2006 and ran the Under 9's with Roger Ballard in 2007/08 Season finishing a very respectable mid table in Hanney's first ever competitive Season. Being a Man City Season Ticket holder he is quite used to seeing the ups and downs football brings!
After being at Tranmere Rovers FC for 3 years as a schoolboy but not quite making the grade, he thought his world had ended as all he dreamt of as a youngster was being a professional footballer. Twenty years on, he doesn't think his time will arrive now! As coach of the Under 9's he kick's every ball with them on Match day but tries to instill that the game is all about enjoyment. Jon's current squad is one of many differing abilities, but the key emphasis is seeing every player, regardless of ability, improving as the Season progresses with a smile on their face!
