Hanney Youth FC - Tournament on Saturday September 5th 2020 CANCELLED
It is with regret that we have decided to cancel the tournament this year on the following grounds:
Even with the new guidelines, the virus has not abated and therefore still represents a significant threat. We have considered the additonal safety requirements to manage a large gathering event and taken advice on the required safety that would be needed to run a safe event and decided that this was not reasonably practical.
We had hoped that by now the virus would have become less virulent but the recent flare ups show that it is still active across the country.
I would like to thank all of the teams who entered and the volunteers who had committed to running the event, we really had hoped to be able to run.
What Happens Now?
A full refund will be made to all teams in the next two weeks. If you have not received your refund by August 7th then please contact us at hyfcfooty@gmail.com
